OK Boys and Girls. I have secured an interview with Jeremey Wakefield. We're going to conduct it via E-Mail and I'd like your input. If you have any questions for Jeremey, e-mail them to me or put them here and I'll get a list together. The first interview conducted by that brave bunch known as the Forumites!

OK, Robbie,
Ask him if he prefers all-pull or push-pull guitars.
Naaaah! Just kidding, man! Just kidding!

Ask him about the Lucky Stars!
1) When's the CD coming out?
2) Why don't they play out more often?
Those guys can do no wrong as far as I'm concerned. All I have is the 2 45's, we need more.

I'd like to know the breakdown of the tunings he uses and also how he got so good...so fast!, ie. how did he learn to play (lessons, copy records, practice scales, etc.).
Thanks,
DD

I've been working on Foggy Island in C13...
also would like to know what vibrato unit Jeremy uses... he gets an organ type effect now and then...
my guess would be a Fender amp vibrato set with a fast tremolo...

I'd like to know which tuning he used on "Looking for Better Days" from Wayne Hancocks' new album. The guy definitely rips! Great tone and timing!
[This message was edited by Dave Webster on 20 March 2000 at 07:53 AM.]

Lee Jeffries introduced me to J.W.a few years ago and he has come a long way in a short time. He's one of those very focused guys with natural talent on steel-plus,I'm told he practices constantly.I got a feeling we're gonna hear a lot more out of him.He has been over to my house a few times and he's a real nice cat as well. -MJ-
