women steel guitar players

Post by Troy Cody »

At both the International Steel Guitar Convention in St. Louis, Mo and at the Hawaiian Steel Guitar Assoc. Convention in Mt. Joliet, IL this year there were a number of women steel guitar players and I would like to see some of their input on the Forum....So if there are any women steel guitar players "listening" please post a reply.

That is a good topic. I used to teach standard and the girl students always seemed to be the best students, but somewhere along the way, they drop out. But, lets not forget Cindy Cashdollar of Asleep At the Wheel. She's great on the non-pedal steel.
