Used Oahu Lap Steel F/S

Post by Herby Wallace »

I have a used Oahu 6 string lap steel for sale. It is in decent condition with some scratches. I have replaced the tuning keys, but the pickup is real weak and I think need to be re-wound. I can sell it for $100.00 as is.

Hi there,
Is this an Oahu Tonemaster lap steel with the checkerboard binding?
If so, I'm likely interested.
Thanks,

Dear Lee,

Sorry, but this is not the Tonemaster model you mentioned. This is the lower priced version that looks like a Supro. It is covered in a brown mother of pearl finish. This is the style that was made by a company called Valco.

Hi there,
Thanks for clarifying.
I was hoping it was a Tonemaster (I have one, and wanted a spare).
Cheers!

I have decided to lower the price on this steel as I need to move it. I will let it go for only $80.00 as is.

If it has a case, I'll take it.
