Ricky,
I've been listening to Dale Watson's Truckin' Sessions, and there are a couple songs where you do some climb-downs reminiscent of the ones Lloyd Green does in Johnny Paycheck's "Lovin' Machine." One is in "I'm fixing to have me a breakdown." Is there a lot of pedal action in those or are they strictly sliding down to the root note? Thanks, I really appreciate it!

Hey Kyle; here's something I guess I haven't shared with anyone about that song.
Me and Dale were driving down the road one day and we were of course listening to Lloyd on that old Paycheck stuff; and we heard Lovin' machine...and he said lets write a song that will fit that style intro...and so there ya have "fixin' to have a breakdown"...ha.
We actually wrote a song around several Lloyd Green exciting solos and intros and turns he has played in the past.
Here's the tab for that Dale Watson song; I tabbed years ago> enjoy.

Fixin' to have me a breakdown/key of G/intro over D
