Free Gospel Song for Feb.--------"House of Gold"
Thom Beeman send me a CD with this gospel song on it along with the sheet music. I made up the tab for him and then decided I would offer it as this month's selection.
This song was written by Hank Williams in 1948-49 and recorded under his pseudonym of "Luke the Drifter". His gospel song "I Saw the Light" is better known but the "House of Gold" is just as good or better, in my estimation.
If you would like to try your hand at this old Hank Williams song, just give me a shout and I will get it in the mail to you. As with my other tabs, it is worked up for the E9th pedal tuning.
May the good Lord take a likin' to you!

I think you will like playing this song. Hank's songs were basically the 3 chord type but in this tab I couldn't help but slip in a few minors. On my tabs I usually show a lot of chords. If you have a rhythm guitar playing along it's hard for him to make all the changes but this way, you can see the chords you are creating via the pedals and levers.
Let's all make a joyful noise unto the Lord!
