I need help with voicings on this Strait tune on E9th (or C6th). I think the verse (4/4) chart is basically:
(" = 2 BEATS)

EDIT REFLECTS MY "NEW" UNDERSTANDING.
(I MAY BE LEARNING)

4/1 2-" 1 1 4/1 2-" 1 1
4/1 5" 6- 6- 1 1

The band plays turnaround:
4/1 2-" 1 1 4/1 2-" 1 1

Is this correct? Has anybody worked out a steel solo for this turnaround? I can't seem to figure out where it is othere than octave melody (strings 4 & 8; NOTES 4,3,2,1).

We're playing this tune without fiddles this weekend...I know I'm going to have to play the turnaround for it.

Can you help me?
