The tab for August has been a long time a comin'. I really had never heard this gospel song until my first trip to Indianapolis for Doug Rolfe's steel guitar gospel show. It was loved by the crowd so well in Indy that they just couldn't contain themselves and had to get up and start singing when it was being played. I have had several requests to tab this song and I finally got around to doing it.
"Sweet Beulah Land" was written by Squire Parsons and he can be seen and heard on quite a few of Bill Gaither's CD's and DVD's.
It really laid out quite nicely in the E9th tuning and if you would like to give it a shot just make your request known and I will get it in the mail to you at no cost. If you haven't requested tab before, I will need your postal address.
All right now, let's get busy and "give praises to the Lord on an instrument of 10 strings" (Psalm 33:2)
