Does anybody know if Jeff Newman made a backing track for his "Once in a Lifetime" CD? What a great Album! Thanks. |

Hi Leila
I have asked Fran about the tracks and she says it isn't that easy as the CD was produced jointly with Billy Williams.
I am sure that she will issue them as and when she can. It would be especially significant as Thursday is the first anniversary of his passing. |

Clive,
Thanks for the useful information. I'll just be patient and when it happens I'm sure we'll all know about it. I love the music on that CD...I'm wearing it out!

Meanwhile, there's Band In A Box. I also have a recording studio in which I could create backing trackis for any tune anybody need - when I have time.

But BIAB doesn't sound at all like Billy Williams. His work on that CD was at the same excellent level as Jeff's. You can't get parts and sounds like that from an automated computer program. |
