Here's what I came up with. I think the notes are right (didn't really check it that close) but I'm wondering if there's an easier way to play it. Or maybe the song was done on a C6t - I play E9/B6 (on a U12). Could someone who knows/plays the tune check this and see if I missed an obviously more easy way to do it?

I might be able to do the first three measures eventually but I think there must be a better way to do the triplets in the 4th measure.

I heard this song again on the radio today on the way home. So I searched up this old thread to see how I tried to play it almost 2 years ago.

I think I found a more natural way to play it. Or maybe I just play better now. I'm sure it's not note for note but it plays more smoothly. Here's what I came up with this time.

I thought Weldon played it on C6?

It sounds like C6 to me to but I don't play C6 yet. That might make it easier to hit that augmented chord.
