How Great Thou Art"------ May's FREE gospel tab
I just got back from Indianapolis after taking in the gospel steel guitar show. It was GREAT!!!
I have already filled some requests for "How Great Thou Art" but thought some more of you gospel steelers would like to give praises to the Lord with this great old gospel song. Soooooo, this is my selection for the month of May.
Just send me your request, and I will put it in the mail for you.
Let's all make a joyful noise unto the Lord!

Hi, Erv,
I realy like a copy, I had a go at this song myself, but haven't got it quite right,
be good to see the difference, it's a great song, I got 2 flats in it ,so far all your songs are the same as my "book of worship"
which makes things very easy when I play in church, from "down under" Gods Blessings.

Thanks for all the nice comments, guys!
I will get your tabs on their way today.
Yes, this is a great gospel song and it is written in 2 flats, the key of Bb. I think you will find some of the chord changes interesting, especially the first 3 pickup notes. Jerry, that's maybe where you are having trouble. I go from a Bb to a Eb to an F7 at the 6th fret with the use of pedals. Also, watch for the 5th, 6th & 7th string grip to get the C minor chord in a couple of different places.
Let's make a joyful noise!
