Looking for rock licks to use with distortion

anybody have any good rock or blues riffs that I could use with a distortion unit? not the sacred style, more like southern rock. E9th or C6th. I think some good hammer-on type licks would be cool

Jack, I'm surprised you haven't gotten any replies on this one yet. I'm not a strong rock player, but I'm aware that Joe Wright has a video/DVD course on rock steel that might interest you. There are a few other video courses around too, but I can't recall who put them out. Hope this helps a bit.

Here is two small licks that sound nice w a little bit of overdrive/distotion.
No pedals, only a lever that lowers 2nd string to C#.

Not knowing exactly what kind of licks/riffs you are looking for but hope these can get the inspiration going for finding more riffs.

7__0 means pick note w bar at 7th fret, lift bar (pull off) to sound open string


  


3~~4 means pick note w bar at 3rd fret and slide to 4th fret


 


/5 means pick note at 4th fret and slide quick into 5th fret


 


\7 means pick note at 8th fret and slide quick into 7th fret
