I looked over my gospel tabs last night and decided on the old gospel classic by John W. Peterson: "Over the Sunset Mountains". I think you will like it. It has sort of a Hawaiian feel to it.
If you would like a FREE copy, just make your request known. It is tabbed out in E9th with the normal pedal setup. If I have sent you tab previously, I have your address on file. For you newbies, I'll need your "snail" mail address as all my tabs are sent through the mail.
Lets all make a joyful noise unto the Lord!

Hello Erv,
I have been away from the computer for awhile. Please send me your free Gospel tab for February AND January, if you have any left.
I must take this opportunity to tell you how much I enjoyed and learned from the Christmas tabs that I purchased from you. Totaly different arrangements and many new chords to learn. Really pretty, especially the "What Child Is This" song. I play it but not in the" minor" that was your arrangement.
Love it that way! Many thanks again!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the great response guys!
I'll get those tabs in the mail today. I think you will like it. John W. Peterson wrote a lot of great gospel songs and this is one of my favorites. I just checked our church hymnal and it contains the following John W. Peterson hymns:
"Surely Goodness and Mercy"
"Jesus is Coming Again"
"So Send I You"
"No One Understands Like Jesus"
"Shepherd of Love"
"Heaven Came Down (and Glory Filled My Soul)"
and "It Took a Miracle"

Erv, I'm just wondering why you don't post your tab in the archieves? I don't know if I want a copy, but I would like to look at it in the archieves to see if I might want a copy. There doesn't seem to be much gospel or sacred steel tab yet on the forum and it would be nice to look at. Great job spreadin the word.

Jesse,
Just e-mail me your address and I will send you a copy, at NO charge. If you don't like it, you can always round file it.
It would be very hard to post my tabs since they contain lyrics, chords and notation along with the tabs. Some of the guys have stated that my tabs are the next best thing to a guitar lesson.
Besides that, how could I send you the $50 dollar bill I'm including with this month's tab. Just ask CrowBear, I've made him a wealthy man.

Jerry,
I've never seen any other currency with that peek-a-boo window in the corner. Very unusual!

Bill,
Thanks for the e-mail and your tab will be on its way to Alabama today!

It appears that this song is new to quite a few of you. I guess I'm getting tooooo long in the tooth as I have been playing this great gospel song since I was a pup. I really think it's time to recycle this great John W. Peterson song. Try it, you'll like it!!!
