John,
I just sent you a copy of my number chart on this song as an attachment. Let me know if you have trouble opening it or reading it. |

Perfect!!! Thanks much. There should be a music web site with this nice format. Then you don't need to worry about the key. Just pick your own.
Thanks again |

Gee, guys, so much a-do over nothing. It's really a very simple chart using the "Nashville Number" system. The format I use is one I copped from John Hughey -- very large numbers (26 point font) for the basic chords and smaller numbers or letters (16 point font) for the variation such as "min" "7" "aug" "dim" etc. I have been told by backup musicians that they like it because the numbers are large enough that they can lay the chart on the floor and read it from a sitting or standing position.
If you are not familiar with the "Nashville Number System" do a Google search and you will find a lot of nice instructional material. |

The rebel site is great and I really like the format you use. I use it to learn new material and to refresh my memory as to how a song is played. The mp3 sound clips are great to listen to, also.
I also use Band-in-a-box for practicing and Roy's format is great for inputting the chords into BIAB. I can pick my own key with the nashville numbering system. |

Thanks. I already know the song, just needed the chord progressions for Band-in-a-box. It's really a great song for pedal steel and one of those "must know" songs. |
