Has anyone ever tried to tab Buddy's great E9 solo that's at the end of this video clip? Just too cool!

Hi Niklas,
Thanks for posting that link. Neat.
I just had two quick listens, and I hear three distinct Buddyisms in there, and if you knew them, you'd have half that solo.
In order of appearance:
- A different kind of flower (Ray Price)
- Honkytonkitis (Billy Walker)
- Looking for tomorrow (Mel Tillis)
All these intros and turnarounds (clips and tab) are available for purchase from Buddy... I believe it's "Derby Power 4 - intros and turnarounds"
They're all classics, and keep getting regurgitated - The steel solo from "Next Broken Heart" by Brooks and Dunn (can't tell you who the steel player is - maybe Bruce Bouton ?) contains the triplets from "looking for tomorrow"... and so does this video clip.
I hope that's helpful.
-John
