I did a search for the last year with no results on this title. Anyone have tab for it?? We've worked out the basic changes tonight in the key of Bm which I think was the original since it matches the juke box.
Preferably a X6th arrangement but E9th is OK too. Appreciate any and all help !!

Regards, Paul

Paul you are too cool. Image You're what 60 are older?I heard this song the other day and was thinking I need to get a copy of it.I would like to work out the guitar solos on PSG.A really good player could do them on either neck. But in my head they, the solos would sound best on E9.Keep thinking like a rocker. It'll keep you young. --bb

Bobby: It's the other way around ! I'm going on 71 and you are too cool !! If we don't get anything from the Forum, I'll come back here and tab out what I'm using. I have a really weird B6th (Cb6th ??) tuning with two higher strings in front; a 6th and a flat 7th. With my P-6, I go to an E instead of an F like regular C6th guys. Put a G# and an A in front of that and you get some unusual chromatics.

I posted some tab awhile back on a rock song we do called Turn The Page by Seegar (sp ??).
That I do use the E9th on and it really does fit nice. Again, Thanks for your kind words !

Colin: That would be perfect since the guitar work is what we are trying to duplicate. Thank You very much !!

Awwww Geeeze, Larry ! I was having a nice day saying positive things all over the Forum about nice folks like Joan and Johnny Cox, Jody Carver, Bobby Bowman, Don Rich, Jerry Brightman etc etc. I wouldn't want to spoil it now, would I ??

You Better Believe I would !! Gotta get this off my chest so get a hankerchief and sit back with some sad music on the CD Player.

That new Fender Jazz Bass we got him.....Friday night he was beating it so hard some of the adjustable bridge pieces fell off and we spent half a set finding them and another young bassman got it back togeather again.

Saturday he was using a quarter for a pick and pulled on the A string so hard, the nut piece broke. He kept breaking strings so he put on a real large guage set and that large string was too big for the groove in the nut and that helped break it too.

I think we are about to let him go. We've hesitated because he still owes us about 700 on the bass and amp but that doesn't seem to matter any more. We just can't deal with it any longer and we have surely given him a chance. He does know the changes to Hotel CA but that is small as well. His mother almost died ODing on Oxcondeyne and two weeks ago his father committed suicide in Indianna. We had a week off from his antics and we were told about the difference in the band so we have to do it.

If this all sounds crazy, it's not. It's too painfully real to be made up for a joke post. I'm sure a lot of you have had this happen to you as well so you know of what I speak about. I hope we aren't too far off topic but it really is about the changes to Hotel California as of last night.

Bye Larry, Regards, Paul Image Image Image Image Image

Colin: I got the tab and what a piece of work it is. Transcribing to PSG will be difficult but I'll give it a try. It really looks like a jazz classic and HC is 7 pages long plus all those other Eagles hits.....WOW !! Thanks a million !!
