The second chord in this easy turnaround is a chord I play on guitar alot and it's on your C neck too. It is a non-root substitution for the 6minor (as I see it) in a basic 1-6m-2m-5 turnaround. Played here in the key of A.

The first chord is AMaj7
The second chord (use pedal Cool is a non root F#m7add9 with a b5 in the base or you could call it a Cm6#5. Either way it is subing for F#m.
The third chord is a Bm7.
And the last chord (use pedal 6 and your knee lever) is an E7 with a b5 in the base or you could call it a Bb7b5.
I'm not too good with all the musical terminology but maybe Jeff or John or Andy will help out.

Don,
Am I missing something here? That first chord on the 6th fret has, from top to bottom, an F#, Eb, Bb, B, is a BMaj7, not an AMaj7. But then the 6m chord would have to be a G#m, not F#m, to fit your I,6m,2m,V turnaround description. Can you explain? I don't have my steel out or I'd play it. I'll try to get it out by Monday and check it out. Maybe someone else will ring in by then. Thanks, Jeff
