I emailed Rainer and suggested that in his first measure of the intro BbMaj7th that he use the 8th fret starting with AB pedals closed:
At the eighth fret then....picking strings 9-7-6B-5A-5-6B-7-9
That gives a nice major seventh sound and it is somewhat easier to execute.
That's the way I kick it off in my arrangement of this tune.
