Here's my attempt. I think Doug Jernigan's version is in Eb. I tabbed out what I heard, but kinda fudged the very ending.

cheers,
Drew

Key of Bb. "R" = 1/2 tone raise "L" = 1/2 tone lower. "LL" = full tone lower "*" = harmonic
Thought I'd join in the fun. This is tough to figure perfectly because DJ has the option of using pedal 7 or dropping the 3rd string a half tone with the usual RKL. Whenever he picks two consecutive notes separated by a full tone, it sounds to me like he uses string 3,RKL, followed by string 4, rather than mashing pedal 7 and unmashing it. I never hear a slide. On the other hand, he uses fret 10 initially, IMO, and not fret 13, because the notes sound too thin, and this type of pattern normally is picked this way, and I can't see his using both feet for this (I could be wrong, of course). But that means, he must use pedal 7. So it sounds like he mixes pedal 7 and RKL with similar picking patterns, and that always bothers me, because I assume that for a given passage, picking pattens usually are consistent. For that reason, in line 2 of the tab, there are two played notes on fret 8, one on the 4th string with pedal 7, and one on the 3rd string with RKL (1/2 tone lower). Even though they're the same note, it matches the other picking patterns in which pedal 7 is always the third part of the passage. It plays easier but it could go either way. Oh well, so with less than complete confidence, this is my take, basically in agreement with the others, but still some questionable nuances. Also, it seems that DJ has a second string lower for a full tone, and at the time this was recorded, had a "G" for the first string, which only matters with the harmonic at the end.
