Chris-- I've got Jerry Byrd's instructional package which includes one of his versions of 'Sand'. The tab is for the B11th tuning. As this is now out of print and I've never seen another tabbed source, perhaps we'll be forgiven if I send you a copy of this beautiful piece. Should get it done shortly after ThanksGiving. --Everett

Jerry's instruction material is NOT out of print. It can be purchased through Scotty's Music in St. Louis ! He also offers a version of "Sand" in Amajor7 as part of his single tune collection. Check it out. www.scottysmusic.com. All the best.

I recorded it on my Quasar Steel Guitar CD with an A6th tuning. I probably missed a few low harmonies from Jerry's version because I didn't know about the B11th tuning thing.
I never tabbed it out, but here's the chord chart I used for the other musicians at the recording session: <font face="monospace" size="3"><pre>Sand
slow 4/4 in D by Andy Iona
Intro
[Bb |Bb |D |D |
|Bb |Bb |D |D7 ]
First part (play twice)
[: G |A |D |D7 |

Second part (play twice)
[: A |A |A |A |
