I'm having trouble with "The Christmas Song". The second line of the song, "YULE TIDE CAROLS BEING SUNG BY A CHOIR AND FOLKS DRESSED UP LIKE ESKAMOS". I'm playing the song in the key of "C" (but I can transpose).
Can someone tell me what the chord pattern is behind this line of the song? Thanks.

I would play

Am Fm6 C F#m7 B7 E Fm7 Bb7 Eb Dm7 G7
. . . .|. . . . |. . . . |. . . . |

Actually all those minor 7ths could be played as minor 11ths because the melody of each one is the 11th.
Darn chords won't line up!!!
Merry Christmas anyway, and CH - CH - CH - CHIA !!!
Sorry Doug; I tried to go in and line the notes up with beat/per measure for ya; but totally forgot the song. I hope it's not too far off. If you can send it to me in e-mail; I can line it up better for ya.

Ernest,
In order to line up everything, put the word TAB between square brackets [] at the beginning and /TAB in square brackets [] at the end, same as if you posted tab. That should work.
[This message was edited by Jeff Lampert on 24 November 2000 at 08:55 AM.]

I used to put TAB in brackets but I thought that was unncessary now that b0b has put all the Tablature posts in a monospaced font.
Guess it's not...

[tab] (or
) is necessary to keep spaces from collapsing.
