Labeling your licks, Pedal Steel,Lap Steel,Dobro?

Post by Gerald Ross »

What do you think about attaching a prefix to your "Share A Lick/Turnaround" postings? The prefix will identify the lick as either Pedal Steel, Lap Steel or Dobro.
Example:
PS: Waltz intro major key. Starts on one.
LS: Three Hawaiian turn-arounds
DB: Bluegrass ending. Minor key
[This message was edited by Gerald Ross on 02-24-99]

[This message was edited by Gerald Ross on 02-24-99]

Gerald,
Do you mean in the subject line, or in the post, or both?

Put the prefix in the subject line so when
you look at the "Share a Lick/Turnaround"
main screen you will see all of the postings with their appropriate prefix.

This will help download times and network traffic. Especially over a 28.8 modem. No need to download licks you don't want or can't use.
[This message was edited by Gerald Ross on 02-26-99]

Allright! John Steele labeled his tablature PS for Pedal Steel. We are on the road to Lick classification heaven. Keep it up!
