I'm thinking about buying a StroboStomp mini tuning pedal, mostly for use with pedal steel. I read on here that the HD version of the pedal allows you to name different versions of the same note, so you can tune different offsets for the C# with a A pedal and the C# on the second string lower, for instance. My question is: does anyone know if the mini has the same functionality? And while we're at it, does either of these pedals allow you to measure the exact numerical cents of the note you are playing? I know you are able to make custom sweetened tunings with Peterson but in order to do that, I'd need to measure the idiosyncrasies of my instrument...

The mini will not let you name different offsets of the same note. I recently exchanged the mini for a Strobostomp HD because of this missing feature.

It would work if you put them on different presets. With the mini, you have to connect to the computer in order to import steel guitar sweeteners (they're not preloaded from the factory, but are in the HD stomp). I wrote Peterson asking about this. They went into my account and set it up for me with only three presets; EM9, SC6, and EQU. All I did was edit the color of each preset, connect to the computer, and hit configure.
