Emmons all-pull tone-control

I've played LeGrandes ever since 1998 and, until today, had never played with the tone-control. I thought it was a pointless dust-catcher. The only time the bypass switch was 'on' was when I hit it by mistake.

Now, though, I've tried cutting a little top end (just here at home) and I found a rather pleasing, slightly darker tone.

I suppose Emmons guitars sound so good out-of-the-box that I haven't seen the need for yet another variable. I realize there are countless tone-factors in our chains but this was a nice surprise.

Hi Roger ...
Ole Rob here ...
I found that the 47nf capacitor cut way to much hi frequency and rendered it useless.
Doing some experimenting I found a 1nf down to 680pf were much better choices and allowed use of the 500k tone pot.

Also I have PM'd you a message.
