Introducing the New Type 11 Outwest Steelers seat

Post by Wayne Brown »

These new seats are modular in design and have a number of options for you to choose from.
They come with Three adjustable inserts that can be placed anywhere to suit your needs. 1x17", 1x12", 1x8". We can secure them in here before shipping or you can choose to place them yourself. They are held in place by polished aluminum inserts.
The new Type 11 seat has been years in refinement. Listening to steel players needs and wants.
Standard height is 20.5" and size is 18"x13.5"
1) Weight; These seats have been designed for strength while also using weight saving techniques. The have 1/2" walls with 3/4" floor and seat base and all stress points are dato joints. The standard seat weighs in at just under 16.5LBS.
2) They come with 6061 welded aluminum and stainless legs that weigh in at just .083lbs
3) We now are embroidering our logo and name so that no extra name plate or tag is needed.
4) All of our seats are black sound cabinet covering carpet with industry standard hardware.
5) The seat cover is gun metal blue to complement the black carpet
6) The foam is the heaviest density available so that it does not collapse so easily which makes for a more comfortable sitting experience.

The seat also has add on options.
1) It can have 1 or 2 ("saddle bags") added for extra storage
2) These saddle bags can be supplied with AC and USB power or without.
3) These can be added to any Outwest or Silver sage seat going all the way back to the original 1990s Outwest Pak seats.
4) At the time of ordering you can special order at no extra charge your seat height our standard is 20.5" . You can go higher up to 2.5" from standard or shorter down to 16" from standard.
Thanks
Wayne

Wayne builds a great seat. I have mine for many years and all is still perfect.
