Frank is truly one of the most under rated players.
He plays better than I could ever dream of playing.

Plus, he is one of the GOOD guys.

Just wish he had learned how to build a decent steel. hehe

My friend Frank

Post by John Corzine »

I'm late to the steel guitar party, but Frank has gone way out of his way to help me catch up. I'm so lucky to have found such an elegant player, such an exquisite craftsman, and such a generous ambassador of the instrument and the community. Delighted and proud to call Frank and Fran my friends.

This is a 'first' for me. I love Frank's playing! I've always played Shenandoah on E9 - now I'm off to try it on the back neck.

Rick Schmidt: what a great photo!!! Your D-12 is indeed a work of art.

Thanks for the link, Wally.

I want to thank you all for your very kind words. A special thanks to my good friend, Wally. At 83 years old, I still have a great passion for music and the steel guitar.

Frank is a tireless evangelist of the pedal steel, an artisan, and superb player. But above all a great human being.

And oh yeah, everybody wants Franks' tone.
