Post by Michael Hartz »

Anyone know where you can get those large knob 3/16” aluminum tuning wrenches?

I don't know if anybody makes those big tuning wrenches any longer. The last resource I knew of was Michael Yahl's PSG Products and he's closed up shop.

Maybe a member has one they could part with. Good luck!

If you have minimal skills and equipments, you can do this. Stubby screwdriver with blade removed, drill it out to a size that a deep 3/16” socket can be forced into.

Thanks everyone for your help, I think I’ll try making one out of a stubby screwdriver and socket. That looks like it would be perfect.

Get a steel one rather than aluminum. Aluminum makes your white tuners look all dirty and ugly looking.
