Got this last week. Just wondering if anybody might have any info on it. Age, value? Looks like a classic to me.
Thx, Pat

I think it's a vibrato / tremolo pedal that runs off an 'oil can'. Does it work? I'd guess early 70s maybe worth around $500.

Those old morley volume pedals used to run off of a light sensor. There was a little red light that would glow when you turned it on. If it does not fire up, there might be a little burnt out light bulb inside. There was a little cardboard venitian blind inside that would let in more or less light to activate more or less volume. They were tops in their time.
Just 'cause I look stupid, don't mean I'm not.

Yes, the Morley rotary pedals used an electrostatic oil to get the swirly effect. The product is still available but very messy to handle, especially if the pedal is damaged. Fun sounds though!

Be very cautious if you intend to monkey with this pedal! It's highly likely that the oil in it contains PCB.
(Very bad stuff, causes cancer.)

Wow,
Thanks Donny, I didn't know the makeup of the oil! I definitely appreciate the head's up!

Is this the pedal that a lot of Sacred Steelers use?
