Hi everyone,
My sho-bud maverick has broken another string changer finger and now I'm down to my last replacement. This happened a few years ago and someone from this forum was kind enough to mail me some spares.
Does anyone have some extra fingers they'd be willing to sell me?

Not right now but in a few months(June-July) I may have an entire assembly for you. I hope to be adapting a Maverick body with new raised fretboard and Miller pull-release changer. If that works I’ll let the original changer go. PM me if interested and we’ll keep in touch.

Hi Tyler, I may have been the one who sent you the fingers in the past, I gave quite a few away. I still have a few, the ones that are left are a little rough on top but still usable. Shoot me an email with your address and I can send you a couple more.
This is a common issue on later model Mavericks. When you engage a pedal the finger itself becomes the stop - the harder you push down on the pedal, the more tension you're putting on that weak spot where yours broke. It's almost guaranteed to fail eventually, but it's easily correctable. You just need to add pedal stops at the pedal crank (where the vertical pedal rod connects) so you can adjust the pedal's travel and stop point to coincide with the finger reaching the end of its travel in the changer.
Do a forum search for an image of the typical Sho-Bud pedal stop on their pro guitars. Something adjustable like that would be best but it's not entirely necessary. The pedal cranks on a Maverick are offset farther from the front apron so a typical Sho-Bud stop won't work, but you can do the same basic thing with just some little L brackets from the hardware store. Something like this could work: https://www.acehardware.com/departments ... es/5289848. You might need to drill an extra hole or two in them for firm attachment, perhaps shorten one side with a hacksaw, you can make it adjustable with a short 10-32 screw and a jam nut on either side of the bracket.
