Can anyone suggest a small amp for pedal steel that is decent? My Peavey Nashville 400 seems to be getting heavier everyday.
Thanks

Quilter Travis Toy 12 has great sound and is light. I haven't used my Peavey Session 400 since I got the TT12.

My Milkman PS 300 Half & Half (15" option combo) is the best gigging steel amp I have ever had. The sound is toe-to-toe with my Session 500 and Twin-Reverb Custom 15,and ahead of my Fox-chipped NV112, all of which do just fine tonewise, but at circa 30 pounds the Milkman has'em all beat hands down in the weight department.
Pricey, but what's it worth not to exacerbate back problems?
TBH I've never taken a Quilter out for a run and can't comment, but a lotta guys have good things to say, so perhaps one of those folks can give a detailed analysis.

I have the Quilter TT12,and i love it.
But i dont know your budget.TT 12 gonna be pushin 1400 new.
I keep a Fender Champion 100 at our rehearsal room,i paid bout 400 for it new several years ago.
And i have gigged with it ,you have a lot of options on it tone wise. Its ok.
Both are light...

I put a TT-15 speaker in my Nashville 400, sounds great and sheds a lot of pounds.
