Tommy Shaw is such a great singer and guitarist. (IMHO)

I love his concerts with this orchestra and chorale:

One of the first rock concerts I tuned was in '77, for Point Blank or 45 Special, who were opening for Styx.

Mid-tuning this kid walks in carrying his books. He watched me for a while, nobody said anything. I hung around to 'listen to the piano'
(and watch the rock thing in its days of no brown M&M's) and the kid takes the stage with his axe and starts shredding it.
Can't have been more than 16, taking his classes on the road. He turned to be a fine musician, and still plenty young in his career.
