Can anyone help me identify this Marlen Steel guitar? I have not seen this model ever mentioned. Thanks.

210 is a common Marlen model number. Hopefully, someone will know what the R indicates.

I believe the serial number, read backward (backwards?), is the build date.

In this case, the serial number is a palindromic number!

Mid-1966 Marlen D10 pull/release. (The 19th one built that year.)
The red flocking (R) was a special order.
