1971 Emmons

Post by Jody Cameron »

I have four D-10 guitars, and simply don’t need them all. This is a 1971 fatback SN 1574, that I restored myself in 2018. E9 is Emmons single coil, 15K, C6 is Wallace TT 15K. Std Emmons setup. E’s on left. RKL +1 on string 1, RKR -1/2;-1 on 2nd string; -1/2 on 9th. I am offering it for sale at $3900. I will consider a partial trade for an Emmons S-10 push pull. Prefer not to ship. I can probably meet 1/2 way if you live in TX, Ark, La, or OK. Here’s a couple of links to videos:

Emmons D-10

Jody: I can't really afford to buy this nice steel guitar. But, it's well worth what you're asking. I do have to comment on the two intros in that first video. Wow! They were just great. I don't guess I'll ever be able to play like that, but I enjoy playing the other stuff you've tabed out. You are such a great player, you're right up there with Tommy White and Tommy Detamore. Thanks, Tommy.....

Hey Jody:

That's an awesome sounding horn brother. Of course, the hands on top of it don't hurt..!! Best of luck with your sale. Someone will get a great horn here and your price is more than fair..!!

I still have my 1969, #1312. It's with Tommy Cass right now having two levers added.

Hope you're well my friend.
