made this from scrap wood not too bad huh lol either a 8 string or maybe a ten made the tuner already had a 8 string pickup just thought id post it comments welcome

this one is a 7 string , there is no finish on either steel i can always take it apart to finish if i want to later anyway thanks for looking

Very nice work! I really like the keyless tuner. If not too much trouble I would love to see more detailed pictures of that. What tunings do you like?

That wood chest the lap steel is resting on is an amazing looking item. Fine work looks super good.

Seven strings is good enough for me with A6th and the E on top.
I feel kind of like 6 is not enough, but on my 8 strings I don't often play the bottom string.

If I was building one with plans of selling it I'd sure have 8, but if for myself 7 would be just fine.
