Working on my guitar I lost a dogbone.
So as a repair I've expanded on a repair seen previously to replace it and it is a very simple solution.
I used a pop rivet and with a Dremel and cutting disc.

Grind the rivet on either side so that it remains whole. Simple fix and easy to do whether it be temporary or permanent.

If you find the right rivet, you don’t need to make the notch in the middle and it’ll slide right in the hole of the pull finger/bell crank.

True but by notching the rivet you can use the original rod and have a more snug fit with rivet. But to each his own.
