Currently using a Carvin BX500 bass amp for keyboard and pedal steel
Would a Quilter 202 be alright for this use
I read somewhere that a keyboard amp needs a flat response
Thanks

I believe that the Quilter has a Full Frequency setting

I think all the Tone Block 2xx series have a setting for flat response - they call it Full Q. I use a TB 201, and that's where I generally set it for pedal steel. In lieu of a traditional Treble/Mid/Bass tone stack, it has a Tri-Q control which is flat in the middle. The 202 replaces that with a traditional T/M/B tone stack, which is flat with everything on 5 (middle) setting - that's from the manual.

I think it would work very well and be a real step up in quality. They are beautiful amps.
