Small town steel showcase in Sebastopol....four blocks from my house. Sean Allen on his his new JM Clinesmith, myself on the Sierra representing the E9, and the master Bobby Black on the 11 string West Coast steel (one of the tuners broke!)
...a real country gentleman. 88 years old and still playing after all those years...he played with Hank Sr!!!! I sat out on the Hawaiian set.

schweet, wish I could have been there!

so great to see Bobby still out there doin his thing. he's one of the best ever yet still underrated by the steel community at large. he had a couple years on Buddy Emmons and even had the "D on top" before Buddy!

Thanks for posting this Dave, must have been a lot of fun.

Great to see Bobby looking vibrant and healthy. It's always been such an honor and pleasure to cross paths with him over the years, to hear him play and to hang out, but it's been a while.

Hi Pete. The only video I’m aware of are a few little bits on Facebook, mostly of Bobby and Sean I believe.
