Those 7-string steels are tailor-made for A6, in my opinion.

Always a crowd pleaser "Coconut grove", I usually play it in A6 as well.

Very nice arrangement, nice tone. Is the guitar played through an effect of some kind?

Thanks for the kind replies! The only effects here are reverb (in the amp) and a small amount of delay in the recording software.

I record direct via a Quilter Tone Block 202. Also using a Sarno Black Box which is not considered an effect, but a tube filter. Also a Hilton volume pedal.

Yes, I have (6-string) A6 tablature for Coconut Grove in my "16 Songs" lap steel song book.

The arrangement in the book is about 95% the same as this video version, even the improv section is basically the same. That's unusual because in my YouTube videos I often play improv parts that are not in my books.
