Post by John Bohannon »

Hey ya'll

I have some fly dates coming up in a few weeks and looking to get a proper flight case with wheels. I have an emmons sd-10 and want to make sure it doesn't get mangled in flight. any of ya'll have a spare flight case you want to sell that will work for this?

John,

Look at the Keal case in the link and let me know if you’re interested.

I’m sure you know that anything over 50lbs will cost big bucks! I hope your band is paying for that.
If not it’ll cut deeply into your performance fee.
A Gator keyboard case might be light enough to get you under the limit but make SURE your tuners are well protected or they’ll get badly bent.
There are hard plastic rolling rifle cases that can work but you need to custom fit the interior foam.
There are lots of discussions here about this topic. You’ll learn much if you do a search.
