Excellent PSG Mechanic in Seattle

I heard about Patrick Timmins of Seattle from a great review on the Forum (apologies to the author, have misplaced his name). Based on the review I asked Patrick to convert my Kline U 12 to an extended E9. Patrick did an excellent job and was a pleasure to deal with. He’s conscientious and creative, and went the extra mile to make sure the changeover was consistent with the slightly idiosyncratic Kline mechanism. He even went so far as to chemically “age” new parts so they looked as if they had always been there. His prices are reasonable and the quality of his work is first rate. Highly recommended.

I will second everything you said, my Rains plays/sounds great, his work is immaculate and he has an amazing knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering...

Hi Matthew, I'm right here
Michael and Gene, thank you so much for the kind words.
I can also be reached at

As a side note; I have a father and son driving up from Portland tomorrow morning so the son can pick out his first pedal steel guitar!
It appears that my evil plan to spread pedal steel addiction in the Northwest is working!
(insert maniacal laughter here).

I too wish to sing Patrick's praises. He helped me in a panic get my Carter fixed up for a gig last minute. Has a great knowledge of the instrument and a fabrication facility to make parts as needed. I liked his service so much I bought a new Mullen Royal precision from him, because he is a dealer and had one in stock.
Thanks Patrick! Loving the Mullen, play it every day

I'm still kind of in shock that there is now a dedicated steel dealer / repair shop this close to me. I'll be contacting you later this year to help me implement some alterations to a copedent, Patrick. Looking forward to meeting you!

Thanks Bryce. Glad you are enjoying the Mullen!
Just sold a new Mullen Discovery this morning to a young man as his first pedal steel. Feels good to get someone started off right, and on an instrument that can grow with them as they progress.
I'm kind of in shock too Pete. As one of my musician buddies said when he came over and saw all the pedal steels I've been accumulating;
"Addiction is real"...
I'll be here when you need the work done. Just let me know.
Patrick.
