Congratulations to her. It’s been a remarkable road that she’s traveled, blazing a real path. I accompanied her on guitar once in Dallas, and she is a fierce player, and she really digs in.

Terrific playing. Annoying boomy low guitar notes though.

Cindy's a terrific, kind person as well as musician. I'm happy to call her a friend. As a steel guitarist she's a magician - able to fade way into the background with the perfect complimentary textural part or step up and solo with ferocious skill and musicality across multiple genres of music. I don't know anyone in the music business who has anything but good things to say about her.

I last interviewed her for Fretboard Journal #35: https://www.fretboardjournal.com/featur ... ighlights/

Some wonderful insights and anecdotes from Cashdollar about coming of age in her hometown during it's heyday in this wonderful little book by Barney Hoskyns:

Cindy's a dear friend and I was lucky to spend a lot of time with her while she was here. Lloyd Green is a big admirer of her playing but they had never met and he was unable to attend the event, so some of us spent the next afternoon outside at a favorite local pub.

Here's Cindy with a small part of her Nashville fan club (Chris Scruggs, Lloyd, and myself). Fun times!

What a GREAT picture there Pete; it totally brought a smile to my Face seeing 4 very inspirational musician friends of mine. I too am so proud of Cindy; as we got to be neighboring Steel players in Austin for many many years. Here's a pic of me and her at a gig together.

Great photo Pete!

Here is one of my favorite Pix, Cindy playing a 3 string License plate resonator guitar that I built for her a few years back.

Cindy has an amazing touch on steel and reso's! Long time fan!
