I’m looking (online) at a 1979 pro 1 3x3. Does not have teardrop knee levers. It has the skinny pedals. Is this in the era of pot metal parts?

all pot metal including changer fingers, and even the end plates, at least on some of them.

They play well, and good aluminum replacement parts are available for substantial money.. They just don't have the same sound as the earlier pull systems, in my opinion.. Certainly not a bad sound by any means, but just different compared to earlier Bud models...
