Great steel playing for sure! And the singer...thank you for the alert. Lynda Kay is otherworldly. I just watched her video of “I Put A Spell On You”, which is totally freaked, like something from Blue Velvet or Rocky Horror.

Pleasant, pleasant voice. Had not heard of her before but found a lot by Googling her name.

More than a little bit of Tammy Wynette's sound and style in her voice. Sounds good to me.

actual name, not nickname

"Groover" is John's actual middle name. John is a talented multi instrumentalist, as well as recording engineer, arranger, amp repair, as well as golfer and gardener! We live close to each other and frequently lunch and commiserate. A great friend and occasional band mate.

Thanks for the corrections, Doug and Peter, I never knew that was his real middle name. Makes him even groovier in my eyes!
