CBS Morning Show had Lyle Lovett's Large Band on this morning 6/4. Buck's harmonics cut through the mix on "Pants Are Overrated ". Beautiful backup on "Twelf of June ". Congratulations Buck!

Just a quick note to say that last week I had a pretty serious mechanical issue with my S-10 GFI that was beyond my ability to deal with. Knowing that he is an ace steel-mechanic I called Buck, who I've known casually for the 30-plus years of both of us playing gigs here in town to see if he might be able to help me out. In spite of getting ready to leave on a very long tour with Lyle Lovett he said he'd be glad to take a look at my guitar.

Not only did Buck fix my mechanical problems, it was a real joy to catch up with him on a personal level while he worked. And then..... he sat down and showed me some of the musical stuff he'd been working on and totally blew my mind. He is without a doubt one of the truly great players of our time. Go catch the current Lyle Lovett tour if you get a chance - I'm gonna try my best to catch it here in Nashville later this summer.
