Morning Friends and Neighbors....Number 4 on our list
of featured player is from Missouri , Mr Rick Eaves. Today
we'll talk about his history beginning at age 13 when he
made the dreadful decision to tackle the steel guitar,
beginning with a Fender 400. Presently he enjoys his Mullen
{doesn't break as many strings}

Rick has full command of both necks and has backed folks like
Jimmie C Newman , Barbara Fairchild , and the fantastic Tony
Booth. His early influences were Buddy of course along with
Loyd Green, John Hughey , and Tom Brumley .Through the years
Rick has played numerous Branson shows and is a pillar of
the Baxter Springs Steel Club as well as playing our show ,
the OSGA {Oklahoma}...convention dates are June 24/25,a short
few days from now.

Rick's recent efforts have been with Dustin Terry's band ,
Hi Fi Country, a premier traditional country group. Adding
Rick and his Mullen truly put the cherry on the cake...they
already had great vocals and this just knocked it out of
the park.

In addition to being a fabulous player , you'll instantly
recognize that he's a Believer, as his actions, attitude ,
and personality reflects . So, we honor Rick Eaves and
look forward to his impeccable talent !!!!

b0b notes: Rick Eaves will be performing at the OSGA show in Jenk, OK, on June 25, 2022.
