I played a gig yesterday and found that when switching back and forth between the dobro & steel sounds i was getting a loud "pop" - it was that loud that i couldn't use it - has anyone got an idea of what causes this? - the batteries were new so i doubt it was that?
Thanks

I have an original model MatchBro.
Possibly caused by the switch. Operate the switch back and forth fast about 10 times and if dirty contact that may take care of it.
Other possibilities, such as a bad guitar cord connection, but start with the switch.
