Thanks for responding so quickly. Pedal steel is a pretty new love for me, and I'm looking to hear some. That timing should fit just about right.

You sure don’t want to miss this years show!!! Not only the great Mike Sweeney, Dave Jackson, Sharon, Jerry, Amber Martin and many others but with surprisingly little begging and pleading on my part, I’ve assembled the most amazing backing band you will ever hear!!! The rhythm section was labeled as “one of the best I’ve ever worked with” by the great Big “E” and Herby Wallace called us his “A” Team.
Our rehearsal the other night was nothing short of “Epic!!!” Come hear Rick Ferguson, Danny Jackson, Bret Raper, Randy Raines and myself for a day you will definitely not regret!!!!

Looking forward to it! I will bring my nice 10 string lap steel that I'm trying to sell for $400 cash. The builder is a fellow Forumite who tells me it is a George L 10-1 pickup.

Thanks for a great show! We were sad we had to leave early to practice with our concert band.

Good to hear you had a successful show. I wish I could have made the trip up from Louisville, but I have circumstances that kept me here.

Sure would have been good to hear all the fine steel players you had there. Hopefully I can make the next one. I got a real hankering to hear and be around some steel players. Been too long.

I had a great time listening to everyone! Unfortunately I had to leave early also to make it back south. Looking forward to the next one!

Jerry, is there anything like this in the Louisville/Southern Indiana area? I'm from about 30 miles north of Louisville.

Sadly, not anymore Eric. We had a club for several years, but it lost direction and ate itself up. We had several members from the southern Indiana area and we supported both the Louisville and the Indy club, even played Indy a time or two myself.

The remnants of the Louisville club are in the town of Brandenburg Ky near the Fort Knox area I'm told, but I've never been to it or have any information to pass on.

Don't know of anything else around the area.

If any of the fine folks that attended the Indy Steel show on June 5th got any video or pictures, I’d love to see about getting copies. Thank you so much!
