Looking for some sort of student model to get into the steel with. I’m open to anything but I’m really looking for an Emmons gs-10 or a GFI student model. But please pm me with anything you might think be of interest.

I’ve often, and still do, think Emmons student models “nail” the Emmons tone. There have been discussions on the Forum here about that. I think it’s probably due to its relatively simple construction and the pickup which isn’t wound as much as those on the pro models.

Anyway, I really should thin this herd of mine which periodically gets out of control. So, I’d sell the Emmons GS-10 I have. It’s been in storage some time so I can’t remember if it’s either 3x3 or 3x4. Have to check. (Most GS-10’s are 3x1). But, as I remember it’s in excellent condition and definitely perfectly adjusted.
