Anybody have a lead on where to get split cases for my Emmons Legrande II? Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

I bought a soft case for a Martin Backpacker guitar and I put my pedal board and leg and rod pouch in it. Then I use my regular case for the body. It works good for me and lightens the load up a lot. Just a thought that might get you into a split case system with very little cost. Gruene Road Cases looks like a good way to go if you want hard cases built for your guitar.

Thanks Joe! We’ve got a show out in Suffolk later this summer. I’ll let you know when and maybe we can talk some steel!

Here’s two excellent case builders:

The Martin backpacker seems like a good idea. And only $40. Probably not much padding though. RP

I split my Emmons up about 10 years ago after my back went out. I use a poly hard gun case that is easy to purchase from a gun shop or pawn shop. I put the legs, rods, and pedal bar in the gun case, and works great. The case came with foam that you would lay the gun on, but works just as well with the leg rod bag and pedal bar.
