PSG clubs and Live Shows

Post by Alan Black »

Hi I will be in the US between July 6th 2022 to July 26th travelling between Washington DC and Nashville. We will stay in Nashville for approximately 12. days. I would like to know if between Washington and Nashville if there are any clubs or shows we could attend. A few years back we visited Ozark PSG club and were made very welcome which was much appreciated please can anyone suggest things in that area.
Many thanks
Alan

Its not pedal steel but July 13-16 there will be the Chet Atkins appreciation society convention in Nashville. Of course the emphasis is fingerpicking in the styles of Atkins, Jerry Reed, and Merle Travis. A lot of prominent guitar players will be there like Tommy Emnanual. I went for a day three years ago and they had an hour long Telecaster jam, four guys with telecasters that had benders. It was heaven.

Don't miss the Time Jumpers, 3rd and Lindsley, Monday nights at 8:00 PM. Maybe some of the Nashville natives can give you better advise on getting tickets and how early to be there. Best band ever...

I passed thru Nashville in October, and found Rusty at the Music City Bar & Grill. I believe he also plays regularly at the Nashville Palace. You will not be disappointed, the entire band will blow your socks off!
