Was fun watching this old film of the Fender factory.
Also the NAMM show with Speedy West, Jerry Byrd, Noel Boggs, Chet Atkins and much more. Very Happy

Not steel related but still amazing to see how it was done at Gibson in 67. I'll never complain about the price of a good vintage instrument. I'm guessing guitar building is nothing like this today. Still some very fine instruments being made though.

I've seen those wonderful videos before, but they're well-worth multiple viewings. Thanks for posting, Andy. The narrator, Richard Smith, is also the author of this definitive book on the history of the Fender organizations and Leo's subsequent endeavors:
